All four gîtes are self-catering, with an equipped kitchen, bed linen and towels provided, so you live at your own pace. Each one has its own character.
The Little Ranch

Unusual accommodation near Angers: staying on a ranch
When we bought La Grand’Maison in 2007, it was not in very good condition: we redid all the roofs, saved buildings that were falling into ruin and turned them into gîtes, keeping their old stonework.
Each gîte is part of life on the ranch: the Thom’House is surrounded by fields, the Little Ranch runs alongside the outdoor arena and the fields, and La Sellerie and the Loft look out over the indoor arena.

Renting the whole ranch as a group gîte
All four gîtes to yourselves, for a choice of two nights over the weekend, all year round: more than 40 bed spaces on site, with extra beds possible.
For a birthday, a family celebration or a weekend with friends, book all the gîtes together. Arrival and departure times are flexible.
With the arena and camping package, you also have the indoor arena, with its very large capacity, its stage and its dance floor, plus a campsite with washroom facilities for those who bring a tent.

Staying at the ranch with your horse
Coming with your horse for a western riding or ranch sorting clinic? Your horse spends the night at the ranch while you sleep in one of the gîtes. Riding trails start right from the ranch.
Horses are welcome on site whichever gîte you stay in. As for other animals, La Sellerie accepts them on request; in the other three gîtes, an exception can be made.

What should you know before booking?
- Self-catering. You look after yourselves in the gîte, with a kitchen equipped for the whole group.
- Non-smoking. All four gîtes are non-smoking.
- Accessibility. None of the gîtes is adapted for people with disabilities.
- Television and internet. A television in every gîte; internet at the Thom’House and the Loft, none at the Little Ranch or La Sellerie.
- With a baby. At La Sellerie and the Loft, a cot, a high chair and a baby bath are lent free of charge on request.

Frequently asked questions
How many people can stay at the ranch?
The four gîtes have 40 bed spaces: 14 at the Little Ranch, 12 at the Thom’House, 8 at La Sellerie and 6 at the Loft. If you rent the whole site, extra beds are possible.
Are bed linen and towels provided?
Yes. For a single gîte, sets of bed linen are provided and you make the beds, or we make them up and strip them for €75. Towels come as one set per person per stay. For the whole site, sheets, duvets, pillows and towels are included.
Can I come with my horse?
Yes. Your horse stays at the ranch during your stay: an overnight stay for a horse costs €20 per night.
Are dogs allowed?
La Sellerie accepts animals on request. At the Little Ranch, the Thom’House and the Loft, only horses are accepted, unless an exception is made: just ask us.
